Tents and Suites
Rhino Walking Safaris has two camps: Plains Camp and Rhino Post Safari Lodge. Accommodation ranges from explorer-style tents to elegant suites. Each room includes a private bathroom, coffee/tea maker, and ceiling fan. Some suites overlook the surrounding landscape. Beds are comfortable, and showers are good.
Dining Options
The onsite restaurant serves meals with a focus on local ingredients. A free full breakfast is included. The bar offers wine and champagne. Special diet menus are available on request. Guests report the food is excellent.
Activities and Pool
The property has an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas on the sun terrace. Guided walking safaris, game drives, and hiking are offered. Massage treatments (back, foot, full body, etc.) are available. Safety features include smoke detectors and first aid kits.
Location and Access
Rhino Walking Safaris is inside Kruger National Park, the largest game reserve in South Africa. It sits in the only official wilderness concession in the park. Nearby attractions include Mala Mala Game Reserve and Skukuza Golf Course. A free roundtrip airport shuttle is provided; car hire is also available.
